House Design is an online publication at https://housedesign.biz. It runs on WordPress and publishes editorial articles. Reader accounts are not offered and registration is closed; only site administrators can sign in.
Information that reaches us
We receive only a small amount of personal information, and only in a few ways:
• When you read the site, our hosting environment and content delivery cache record standard server logs. These logs include your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser or device user agent. Logs are used to deliver the site, keep it secure, diagnose issues, and produce high-level operational metrics.
• If you leave a comment on a post, WordPress stores the comment text and the information you choose to submit (name, email address, and an optional website URL). For abuse prevention and moderation, WordPress also records the IP address and browser user agent with the comment.
Comments
Comments are open on posts unless a particular discussion is closed by an editor. Submitted comments may be held for moderation. Published comments are public and can be read, copied, or indexed by others. Do not post anything you would not want to be public.
If you request it, we can remove or anonymize your own comments, subject to any legal obligations to retain records and the practical limits of public caching or archiving outside our control.
